Building Safer Pathways, Together

At Gifft Hill School, our Annual Fund sustains the heart of our mission—supporting academic excellence, arts and athletics, financial aid, and faculty development. This year, as our school community continues to grow, we are asking you to consider going a step further. Alongside your support of the Annual Fund, we invite you to contribute to a vital capital improvement project that will significantly enhance student safety and accessibility on campus.

The existing Lower Campus parking lot and drop-off area can no longer safely accommodate the flow of cars during busy school hours. To address this, we plan to replace the current parking lot with a dedicated “kiss and ride” drop-off/pick-up lane, allowing families to safely pull off the main road and reduce neighborhood traffic congestion. A protected walkway will ensure secure student passage from the Bertolino Building to the playground, and a new parking area—located just south of the Bertolino Building—will provide much-needed space for faculty, families, and visitors. These upgrades will improve day-to-day life at GHS while reinforcing our commitment to safety, community, and thoughtful growth. Every gift matters, and your increased support this year will help us build a safer, more connected campus for our students now and into the future.
